Food for thought: things I never ate until I had kids

Peer pressure’s strength endures, but parental self-pressure outweighs it every time.  Here are five foods I never ate, until I became a parent.

1.  Sweet potatoes

2.  Fried kale chips

3.  Butternut squash soup

4.  Lemonade, made with lemons

5.  Star fruit

My choice today:

Try something new.

  1. I did not care for vegetables as a kiddo but as an adult I enjoy many of them….finally…better late than never, right?
